Kate is a qualified Sivananda and Kundalini yoga teacher - her classes draw
from these traditions and vary according to requirement.
Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan)
Kundalini yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) works on the entire nervous and
glandular systems, resulting in optimal mental clarity, physical well-being
and greater energy to express your creativity.
The class explores the entire being as well as focusing on a different
aspect of ourselves in the form of Kriyas (e.g. circulation, elimination,
specific organs, emotions and chakra balancing).
Kate's career as a singer and singing teacher informs her approach. There
is an emphasis on centring and flow through breath and posture.
Kundalini yoga has an incredible wealth of meditation practices and uses
mantra to cleanse the subconscious which can lead to greater self awareness
and a sense of health and freedom.
The aim of these classes is to help you de-stress and at the same time tap
into your deep energy sources.
