GREEN EVENT: Make Your Own Natural Skin-care Products GREEN EVENT: Make Your Own Natural Skin-care Products

Sat 14th Mar 2009
Windmill Hill City Farm, Bristol, UK

Why make your own skin-care products when you can buy them? Well, to start with, many commercial producers use harsh chemical additives and preservatives, and the raw materials used are often derived from sources that are ethically and ecologically unsound - usually to meet the demands for standardisation set by the cosmetics industry. Also, by producing your own, you can be sure exactly what they are made of, including the quality of the raw ingredients used. You will know precisely how they have been produced, how fresh they are, and that they are free from adulteration. Finally, making your own skin-care products is a fascinating process in its own right. The aim of the course is to provide an easy, step-by-step guide to making your own skin-care products from raw materials - for both personal and therapeutic application. Participants receive a copy of the book Make your own Essential Oils and Skin-care Products, ensuring that all procedures can be applied safely at home. £60.
